I took this little guy to the office and he was a *big* hit! I was really pleased with how well he turned out for just my second amigurumi. I slightly modified the arms, and the next time I make him, I’m going to modify the muzzle a wee bit as well.

My business partner wants me to make him one. Just before taking the pictures he was carrying Squeaky Mouse around on his shoulder. Can’t get much of a better recommendation than that.

Since making Squeaky Mouse I’ve learned how to do the magic circle and the invisible decreases, so the ears will turn out better, and I’m now using a smaller crochet hook and crocheting tighter in an attempt to keep the holes to a minimum.

This pattern* was so easy and fun to make. I’ll be making more of him to give away.

Another co-worker’s daughter had her baby last week. I made her this cute and cuddly teddy bear for her first grand-baby. This was my first ever amigurumi.

I’m not sure why but the bear looks much better in real life than in this picture. Not sure why it looks so poorly made in this picture. It didn’t look like that when I gave it to her. Weird.

This is the project that got me back into my crafts and eventually back into creating my own charts, designs, graphs and patterns. I needed a gift for a co-worker’s baby shower. I went searching for some baby patterns and found this bib, and these booties. I made these in baby green with white trim, since she was having a boy. At the time, I had not yet decided to create StitchMeKnot Designs, so I didn’t get any pictures of these before giving them to her at the shower.
