This was actually my very first Loom Knit creations. The scarf is done on a long rake in a double knit e-wrap stitch.
The hat was done in the e-wrap stitch on a round loom.
I made this set for our office gift exchange two years ago.
While I was working on another co-worker’s project, the place where I work hired a new employee who was several months pregnant. I really wanted to make her a teddy bear for the baby, or some other amigurumi as a gift, but I didn’t have time to do that before her scheduled baby shower.
I had bought this yarn with the intent of crocheting a baby’s teddy bear. Unfortunately, I just could not crochet with this yarn. I tried it on my knitting looms and found I was able to use it in this way.
Jaime was very pleased with this baby set. She told me that she had never received a handmade gift before and she was very appreciative.
Once again, due to several moves in a very short time frame, I cannot locate the various patterns I used to put this Loom Knit Baby Set together.
